A short top-down shoot em up inspired by Magicka and bullet hells.
You are a sorcerer in pursuit of the legendary Amulet of Zot. Combine the elements of Fire, Wind, Water, and Earth to create powerful spells and lay waste to your enemies! Survive ten levels to win! Can you retrieve the Amulet and escape??

WASD to move
1/2/3/4 to call Fire/Wind/Water/Earth runes
Spacebar to Invoke Spell
LMB to start blasting
RMB to blast previous spell
R to meditate (refresh runes)
P/Escape to Pause

Tips:
Check the Spell List in the Pause Menu to see what spell combinations you can make.
The order in which you cast runes does not matter. Air-Fire and Fire-Air equally produce Fireball!
You can Right-Click to use the last spell you invoked before!
Some enemies resist certain elements. Adapt and be versatile!
There's no difference between the portals that spawn. Just jump in any of them and get going!

Restoration (heals you) - AEFW
Meteor Storm - EEFF
Frost Blades - AWW

Oh no, when I enter a portal with a plasma beam being casted the sound effect just keeps going forever.
Very nice game tho. Magicka + vampire survival is a good combo, even tho the roguelike baffs aren't really important here
Ah good to know, thank you for reporting that issue - I'll try to get it fixed on the next patch (when I have time). And thanks! Appreciate the good word, and I agree, I would like to implement more random features to make each run more diverse. Perhaps in the near future!
No, i'm saying you don't need the buffs at all and the game is still good. Add more rune combinations when you have time, not randomness.
Especially you want less spells that are direct damage and more situational spells. Add time stop, make ice wall an actual wall rather then aoe, make meteor storm cover whole board but damage the caster too. Nerf frozen orb.
Also, mana system, delay between casting, and medetation timings are confusing. I mostly just pressed stuff and if it doesn't work i try again later.
But hp, spell count and secondary spell are easy to understand, no problems there.

Gotcha, thanks for clarifying. All of this I agree with, some spells are definitely quite powerful (frozen orb), a good idea would be to make it more situational. And I would like the invoke/meditation to be more clear as well, just need to think of a way to make it presentable and nice. But thank you for the feedback!

Thanks! For spell ideas, I got a lot of inspiration from other games like Magicka and Dota. Basically whatever I thought was cool I tried my best to implement into the game.
